The concept for this golf club directory was inspired by my lifelong passion for golf, developed over many years of playing courses around the world while serving as a member of the British Armed Forces. Although my golfing ability was always enthusiastic rather than professional, the game provided countless memorable experiences and friendships.

Following my retirement from military service, I continued to enjoy golf for several years until a long-standing injury eventually brought my playing days to an end, confining me to the familiar surroundings of the 19th hole.

However, my passion for the game remained as strong as ever. Wanting to give something back to the golfing community that had provided me with so much enjoyment over the years, I set out to create Countrywide Golf—a resource designed to help golfers discover and connect with clubs both locally and further afield.

For Golfers: Browse hundreds of golf clubs across the UK, read reviews from fellow golfers, and find your perfect course — whether you're playing at home or visiting somewhere new.

For Golf Clubs: Registering your club is completely free. Reach thousands of golfers actively searching for courses in your area. Simply click Register Your Club and complete the short form — your listing will be live within 24 hours.

Our Aim: To become the most comprehensive and trusted free golf directory in the UK — built by golfers, for golfers.

We have created a comprehensive, easy to use directory of golf clubs across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Simply select your country, choose a county and browse the clubs in your area — it's that simple!

Each club listing provides everything you need to plan your visit — course details, green fees, facilities, opening information and a direct link to the club's own website.

As this is an ongoing and progressive directory, it will take time for invited clubs to respond and so the directory is far from comprehensive at the moment but to aid searching, the "Find a Course" choices are highlighted in Red .

A few clubs have been added in the "Find a Course", mainly to test the system and a full roll out will happen shortly as more clubs become involved.

If while searching, you notice that a known club is not in the directory, please go to "Suggest a Course" and enter a few details. We can then follow the lead.

We are busy adding new golf clubs and improving our listings to give you the best possible experience.
